TADE FAMILY OF MUSHIN CRIED OUT FOR HELP

.Speaking with PM NEWS, one of the
member of the Tade family before a meeting arrange for the two parties
by the Deputy Commissioner of Police,DC Adegbuyi, said on the 18th of
Febuary this year the oba of mushin acting in proxy used some thugs to
demolish some shops which are apart of a plot of land belonging to their
family at the railway line mushin.
According to her,sometimes last
year,the Oba invited her to his Palace asking for the DOCUMENT OF THE
SAID LAND AND SHE ASK HIM TO GIVE HER SOMETIMES TO GET IT,when she later
presented the document ,he refer to it as tissue paper.In january to
her surprise,he invited them to Area D Police Command.After meeting with
the Area Commander ACP Bishi acting on the said letter and a petition
claimed to have been written by the Oba of ,the area d commander sent
the letter to the Tades and their tenants inviting them.The Oba of
Mushin ,Oba Fatai Irawo Ogunsi ,his principal assistance and the
Iyalode,Fausatu Williams were also present at the meeting.In fairness
the area commander opened up by saying the meeting was called at the
instance of the petition written by the Oba in respect of the plot of
land occupied by the Tade family.The ACP told all present that the
police do not handle land matters but would prevent breakdown of Law and
Order.A date fixed for April was agreed for both parties to meet but
the Oba arranged with some thugs led by Iyalode of Odiolowo Mushin and
destroyed properties worth millions of naira belonging to tenants and
also auction goods and carted away some they could not auction.
After destroying the shops ,he wrote a petition to the Assistant Inspector General of Police over treat to his life by the woman Pastor Abiodun Tade but after proper investigation,the Police refer the case back to State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti where the Tade family has written a petion through their solicitor Akinlolu Akinyode of 77 Jubrilla street off ,Johnson bustop ,Itire,Ijesha Itire.The petition is tiltled ,WILFUL DESTRUCTION OF BUILDING PROPERTIES ,FENCE AND SHOPS AT 20 OLATEJU STREET MUSHIN BY MEMBERS OF OJOMON EYISHA FAMILY OF ODIO OLOWO.WITH THE TACIT COVERAGE OF THE AREA D COMMAND AND THE OBA OF MUSHIN.

And a summon to the Lagos State High court seated by Justice Mrs Adebiyi which has been adjourned to April 11.
According
to the summon,Tade family have been in possession of the land as far
back as the 40s.infact ,they have been in possession since Feb.1947 as
the the area of land measuring 4 plots have been registered in Lagos
lands registry with plan no bb/7343 dated 19th February 1947 with the
land registered as 3/3/794.In 1947 3 of the plots have been
fully developed as the family house of the Tades was built on it.The house face the railway line as no 1472 other churches stand prominently on the other 2 plots of lands while the 4th plot is let out to mechanics,welders ,and carpenters.
The Tades said since 1947 that they have never experienced any disturbance on the land until the sudden invasion on the 4th plot by thugs led by the Iyalode Fausat Williams on the 18th of Feb.Speaking to one of the tenant Mrs Olajide who said i was in my house when one of the neighbors called me to come to the shop.When i got there,the thugs refused my entry into my shop ,they looted every thing in the shop and auction some of the provision i sell and bags of rice and bean belonging to other shop owners but what pains most is the money N250,000 i got from my cooperative society to pay for my son school fee that was taken away.Another tenant,a carpenter Mr Uche said my properties worth half a million was destroy and some taken away,i am surprised that such a thing can happen in a civilized country where there is law and order.I have been operating in that place for the past 18 years without any disturbance or where was the Oba then?On that particular day,i was in my shop very early in the morning,when what look like an army of invasion,thugs about 50 wielding guns and other weapons attacked me and other shop owner,disposesing all our properties, brutalizing anybody who dares them .they now immediately commenced refencing and building the plot.

At the SCID today April 3 2013 all
the parties were invited at the behest of the Deputy Commissioner of
Police Adegbuyi,present were also the lawyers to both parties and the
Iyalode ,Chief Afusat Williams and Aro ,the PA to the Oba who led the
thugs to demolish the building.
All effort by the o/c Panti to
make peace reign and make amicable settlement by him was made futile by
the Oba who seems not to see his action and that of his protégées as
criminal.
Meanwhile another meeting has been slated for Friday the 12th of April 2013 to determine the way forward in the matter
